What to wear
For family portraits, choose colors in the same tonal range so that no single individual stands out. A simple, classic look allows the focus to stay on your family creating a timeless portrait. Please consider their outfits as a whole, including hosiery and shoes. Jewelry should be minimal. Clothing in solid neutral colors photograph best. Bare feet are especially fun and children love it too.
While character clothing with busy pattern or logo is cute for playtime, it often distracts from you and your family in the portrait. When in doubt, feel free to have several outfits on hand, Meghan will help you choose which will photograph the best.
